Join us in promoting period positivity and ending period poverty in honor of this Women’s History Month! YellowDog will be collecting menstrual hygiene supplies from March 1 – 31, 2024 to be donated to Clayton Cares Market in our very own Clayton neighborhood.
Why? Period poverty is the inability to afford or access menstrual products, affecting the basic needs of women, transgender and non-binary individuals. Lack of essential supplies can force menstruating individuals to miss work and school. We believe no one should have to choose between buying groceries or menstrual supplies. Every donation helps to offset this burden, supporting our neighbors in living their fullest lives with dignity and equity.
Requested items
Please bring these individually wrapped menstrual hygiene products that meet the greatest need:
- Sanitary pads (maxi and regular)
- Tampons (light, regular, super)
- Panty-liners
- Hygiene wipes
- Unisex underwear
- Toiletry bags
FREE Denver-themed greeting cards for donors
As a thank you, we’re giving a FREE three-pack of blank greeting cards perfect for birthday wishes, thank you notes, or just a general day-brightening. Our in-house illustrator Morgan created these Denver-themed greeting cards featuring such Mile High icons as craft beer, the cash register building, mountains, sunshine, and a couple of true-blue public art characters you may recognize.
