Why do I need special print design?
Basically, things look different from screen to page. It takes a skilled eye to calibrate and adjust to make sure every detail pops on the actual print, not just in the preview. Having access to production expertise, printed proofs, and ongoing training to learn the ins and outs of cutting-edge print capabilities doesn’t hurt, either.
Our qualified graphic designers understand the more technical aspects of print design and how to design your piece to work best for its final printed form. We can optimize colors and resolution for output, as well as set up for file with bleeds, fold lines, and other elements to create the final piece. No upside-down pages or messed up layouts here!
What if I have my own art?
We’re happy to print it for you! YellowDog is happy to support you with print if you have your art all set and ready to go. Everything goes through our standard prepress process, and we’ll always let you know if there’s an issue with size or resolution before printing. Need a little more? We offer prepress-plus services for moderate adjustments or art setup. We’re also here with our full design arsenal to level-up your art or create something new whenever you could use a helping paw.
What types of things does YellowDog design for print?
Pretty much anything you can imagine. If it can be printed, we can design it. Some of our most common print design projects include business cards, brochures, direct mail, catalogs, reports, packaging, stickers, and banners.

We can generally accommodate rush jobs, although a rush fee may be added. Please note your deadline when you request a quote, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your schedule.
