Since 2017, YellowDog has maintained certification through an annual renewal process.
Developed by Colorado’s Department of Public Health and Environment, The Colorado Green Business Network (CGBN) is a voluntary program that encourages, supports, and rewards superior environmental performers that move toward the goal of true, operational sustainability.
In 2022, YellowDog achieved Silver Achievement Status after rigorous review from the Colorado Green Business Network and the CDPHE, which we have maintained through 2024.
The Environmental Leadership Program was a statewide program that recognizes and awards organizations in Colorado that go beyond compliance with environmental regulations by advancing sustainability in Colorado.
In 2021, YellowDog achieved Bronze status through this program. The Program was sunsetted in 2022, merging with the certification framework developed for the Colorado Green Business Network.
Colorado State University’s College of Business encourages employers to accelerate their progress on sustainability goals by applying for a corporate sustainability fellowship student from its top-ranked Impact MBA program.
In 2022, YellowDog applied as a host for this prestigious fellowship program. We were matched with an Impact MBA candidate who completed 400 hours of consultancy and implementation.

Yard signs are one of YellowDog’s most popular print products. However, because corrugated plastic (coroplast) is classified as a hard-to-recycle (H2R) material, the City of Denver’s residential recycling program, unfortunately, cannot take them.
To address this, YellowDog initiated its own Yard Sign Takeback Program, becoming an official dropoff point for yard signs or any other coroplast signage, listed in the City of Denver’s recycling directory.
As a part of the Smart Leasing Program, we pledge to make changes in our leased facility that reduce energy, water, and waste, and improve occupant health and well-being.
