YellowDog Core Values Community

Sunny, mile-high Denver, Colorado has given so much to us as a business that we couldn’t imagine opening our doors anywhere else. Since our beginning in 2005, engagement with the local community and giving back have been baked into YellowDog culture. It’s just who we are. Through business association memberships and collaborations with local nonprofits, we’re making a positive pawprint locally. These associations and organizations help us stay values-driven and accountable to the greater good:

Colorado Nonprofit Association

Colorado Nonprofit Association leads, serves and strengthens Colorado’s nonprofit community to improve the quality of life throughout our state.

Over 25% of YellowDog’s business is with registered nonprofits. In fact, nonprofits get an ongoing 15% discount on YellowDog’s services. Through CNA, we’ve attended annual nonprofit conferences and found awesome ways to support nonprofits both big and small in the state of Colorado.

The RiNo Arts District

The RiNo Art District is a distinctive area of north Denver that is inclusive of four historical neighborhoods: Globeville, Elyria- Swansea, Five Points and Cole. The district started as a grass roots movement by local artists that wanted to connect the arts organizations in the area.

Although our new location in northeast Denver’s Clayton neighborhood isn’t technically within the bounds of the RiNo Arts District, we’re very nearby. We support RiNo as a “friend and associate,” or a business outside the District who regularly collaborates with RiNo locations and wishes to support the RiNo Art District’s efforts.

DMCC’s mission is to help companies start, grow and thrive; it attracts new headquarters, expansions and the country’s best, brightest and healthiest workforce to our region; it advocates for policy that makes Denver the best place to do business; it help educates the workers of today and tomorrow; it works towards solutions to our state’s most pressing issues; and it provides members with the network, resources and access to experts that helps them get ahead.

In 2020, YellowDog was thrilled to join DMCC as one of three Small Business of the Year Award finalists.

The South Metro Denver Chamber is the catalyst for business growth and success in the south metro Denver region. It does this by fostering a vibrant economic climate and culture; advocating for our members on local, state and national policy, informing and educating its members and communities, and creating opportunities for civic and business engagement.

In our many years of membership with the South Metro Denver Chamber, we’ve presented at the annual Women in Business Conference and collaborated with a number of other Chamber members.
