Colorado Companies to Watch (CCTW), brought to you by Bank of America, recently announced the finalists of its 2020 Colorado Companies to Watch Awards. This is the twelfth year CCTW has presented the annual award, a unique program that honors 50 high-performing 2nd stage companies from across the state. Founded in 2009, CCTW recognizes the contribution high-growth small businesses make in Colorado’s economy through job creation, revenue generation, innovative products and services, and philanthropic efforts.
We’ve Made “Significant Impact”
“This year more than ever, we need leadership, innovation, motivation, and inspiration as we navigate these unprecedented times. Colorado’s 2nd stage business community is positioned to lead us through this change, as they naturally demonstrate all the qualities that ignite our communities with potential beyond measure.” Said Jill Terry, Chair of the Board at Colorado Companies to Watch and Assistant Dean of the College of Business Graduate Programs at Colorado State University. “Our Finalists stand out above all others and are the driving force behind Colorado’s economy and are the hope for the state’s recovery. We are honored to recognize their success.”
Colorado 2nd stage companies have moved out of the startup phase into a period of growth. Award-winning companies represent Colorado’s diverse economic landscape and have a significant impact on the state’s economy and will serve a critical role in the recovery of our current economic downturn. Collectively, they provide thousands of jobs and contribute millions of dollars in revenue.
See You at the (Virtual?) Gala
The award draws more than 1,000 nominations every year. A panel of CCTW volunteer judges that serve as industry leaders from across Colorado will come together to select 50 award-winning companies from the list of 93 finalists. Winners will be announced later this summer at the 12th Annual Gala Awards Ceremony in September. We can’t wait to meet our peers and and introduce the YellowDog team to this stellar community. Note: There’s a good chance that the gala will be a virtual event in 2020.

About Colorado Companies to Watch
Colorado Companies to Watch is an awards program that honors second-stage companies headquartered in Colorado. The awards program has honored 550 companies since the program’s inception. Award-winning companies demonstrate high performance in the marketplace and/or innovative products or processes. The award program seeks businesses from a wide range of industries throughout the state, not just the major metropolitan areas. The 50 companies selected each year make an astounding impact on Colorado’s economy by collectively providing thousands of jobs and contributing millions of dollars in revenue. The Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT) launched the program in 2009 in conjunction with the Edward Lowe Foundation and valuable community partners from across Colorado.
