Design dream team

1. Jen

Jen Gauerke is our creative director at YellowDog with years of experience designing for small businesses, corporations and nonprofits. Jen developed our entire design program, expanding the business from a commercial printer to a full-service, award-winning creative studio. She loves lending her design expertise to help new companies like Curiocity Travel Guides create distinctive brand collateral.

2. Dan

As one of the co-founders and leaders of YellowDog, Dan Mulligan utilized his background leading digital media and business teams to build the YellowDog brand. Dan excels in website design, branding and collecting art for our office.

3. Morgan

Morgan Heslin has been a graphic designer at Yellow Dog for six years. She loves to design magazine layouts, patterns and any time she can sneak in an illustration. Speaking of, she’s really good at illustrations of dog’s in space suits. Just look at her out-of-this-world renditions of her pup Luna and our office-dog Frida. Morgan used to illustrate and design bimonthly posters for the Kristen Schaal and Kurt Braunohler (Bob’s Burgers) live show

4. Addison

Addison Bazen is the newest member of the YellowDog design team. We immediately felt the gains from her outstanding packaging designs and warm personality. Did we mention she won a national contest by designing a logo for PACE, the Proof-of-Concept Network Action Committee on Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion?!

5. Sarah

Sarah Rieger is YellowDog’s very own human equivalent of a design team multi-tool. She can do everything from designing concept vision art to understanding how a Xerox printer works inside and out, and eventually binding and finishing your finished product. Her real expertise lies in fixing art to be print-ready and interpreting digital ideas to physical and practical application. Needless to say, Sarah is the perfect person to have in your corner when designing for print.

Our graphic design work

6. We’ve done it all.

We’ve done our fair share of designs for logos and catalogs, but did you also know that YellowDog also designs wall murals, beverage cans, van wraps, menus, stickers, trade show booths, mobile bar carts and kids books? Our portfolio contains a diverse, ever-growing repertoire.

7. Diversity of styles

Did you read those designer bios!? Each one of those outstanding people brings a unique style to every project.

8. Versatility

We might not be experts in every obscure niche, but we’re pros at learning and adapting. We can go from the clean lines of a corporate presentation to cartoon illustrations for a public education campaign. You’ve got options, my friend.

9. Experience

This design team boasts 80 years of collective experience. That’s a lot of experience.

We’re a curious bunch. We are always excited to learn more about a new project, a budding brand or a distinct industry. We are enthusiastic about digging deeper so we can bring your big idea to life.

12. Your vision

The hardest part of getting your project off the ground is that first step of transitioning ideas to actuality. It can be difficult to articulate your vision into words. Fortunately, our team is very adept at listening and then fostering your vision. Our designers thrive on finding solutions to make your idea leap off the page and into reality.

14. Your budget

We’ll brainstorm the most cost-effective ways to stretch your dollars and meet you where you’re at.

15. Discovery

We start every design project with discovery–asking generative questions, doing our research and taking our time to get to know each new client. When we know your brand personality, goals and values, we can create visuals that really reflect YOU!

16. Create, critique & repeat

Nothing happens in a vacuum–we workshop designs, share ideas and work together to make it better.
