For five years running, ColoradoBiz readers have voted for YellowDog as Colorado’s Best Printer. In 2020, Over 30,000 votes were cast for the readers’ favorite businesses. Thank you to everyone who voted for us for this competitive award.
Western States Printing Alliance, 2020
This Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico and Wyoming print competition celebrates the extraordinary craft of creating unique and incredibly beautiful printed material. YellowDog’s print work was announced a winner in the categories of large format prints and poster prints in March 2020.
From the award announcement:
“For their office entryway, YellowDog created a large scale mural of an image by Colorado artist, Robin Gates. The style, color, and affection in the art captures YellowDog’s brand ethos. Scaling the original print to 220″ wide by 185″ tall, it covers a full wall and overlaps into a glass-walled conference room. It was printed with 6c inks on Mojave 4 mil wall graphic removable vinyl.”
The Hug Your Dog mural also took ‘best in category’ for Large/Grand Format Print. Our other office mural, Curiosity Community Creativity, won silver.
Our Mile High City poster won honorable mention in the poster/art reproduction category.

This unique program honors 50 high-performing 2nd stage companies from across the state of Colorado. A panel of CCTW volunteer judges that serve as industry leaders from across Colorado will come together to select 50 award-winning companies from the list of 93 finalists.
Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce, 2020
Recognizing the best in the Denver metro area, 18 organizations have been named as finalists for the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce’s 2020 Business Awards. YellowDog is a finalist in the Small Business category, along with Bespoke Event Group and Core Contractors Roofing Systems.

We’ve been selected as one of five finalists for the Denver Business Journal’s Small Business Awards in the medium-sized category. Other finalists are LED Supply Company, Etkin Johnson Real Estate, American Appliance Group, and Transworld Business Advisors.

Each year, Printing News invites small commercial print business owners in the United States to participate in their survey and ranking. They set an upper limit for participation at $25 million in annual revenues. YellowDog made this prestigious national ranking, coming in at #82.

The Inc. 5000 is a list of the fastest-growing private companies in the nation. Started in 1982, this prestigious list has become the hallmark of entrepreneurial success. YellowDog was thrilled to be included in this national-level ranking for the first time in 2020.

Jenny Mulligan, President and majority shareholder at YellowDog, made the list of Top 100 Colorado Woman-Owned Businesses in 2020, coming in at #72. ColoradoBiz Magazine makes this illustrious annual ranking based on annual revenue and percent growth. Way to go, women!

The Alliance Center’s Best for Colorado program serves as the hub for corporate social responsibility for Colorado businesses.
