The branding worksheet allows us to find out everything we need to know in order to create a logo that reflects your existing brand. A “brand” encapsulates everything that your audience associates with your business. This can range from the values your companies has, to the appearance of your storefront, to the tone you write with when addressing your audience. If you’d prefer, we’re happy to meet with you and go over the questions together. The worksheet simply allows us to get to know you and your company, so we can make a visual identity that fits.

We’ve set up our process so you have plenty of opportunities to explore different concepts and revise as needed. For even our most basic logo package, you’ll be provided with 3 unique design concepts. From there, you have two rounds of revisions and with a little bit of communication, we’re sure we can figure out what works for you, what doesn’t, and what fits just right.

Humans are incredibly visual animals, and a striking visual brand helps your customers remember you better, and a logo serves as a first step in establishing a relationship between your business and your audience. From a practical point of view, you’ll need a logo for marketing materials, swag, and web design.

Your logo is a huge investment that will shape your brand for years to come, so we strongly recommend taking your time to ensure that the final result is something you can be happy with for the foreseeable future. We’d recommend reserving a month for the process so you have plenty of time to think it over and so we have time to get our best ideas to you. In terms of the time it takes to receive initial concepts, we can get the first round back to you within 1-2 weeks, depending on our existing workload at the time.

Of course! Although we love when our clients choose to print with YellowDog and the extra care we’re able to provide during that process, our design department is perfectly understanding and able to prepare files for other printers. We’re here for you, in whatever capacity you need.

Absolutely! We’ve worked with plenty of clients to revamp their existing brand and have had great success in diagnosing and solving the problems present in the logos that they “like but don’t love”.

We simply request half-down before starting the project, then the other half after your logo is done and you have everything you need.

First, we’ll go over the brand worksheet together. From there, our design team will work on concepts based on what we discussed, and we’ll have those back to you in 1-2 weeks. You’ll have time to then review the logos and make adjustments within two rounds of revisions. A revision can mean anything from “can the tagline be a different color on concept #2” all the way to “I don’t like any of these; I want something more modern”. After we’ve settled on a concept, we’ll provide you with a toolkit of different versions of the logo in different file formats. This way, you’ll have everything you need in order to start putting your logo on your website, social media, and print materials.
